What is a fastener?

A fastener can be a loose screw, washer, or nut. But in the sheet metal industry, we also have many types of fasteners that are pressed into the sheet metal. They are mounted in special machines directly in the plate and you get different threads, nuts, or screws that you do not have to worry about should fall loose or disappear. It is often easier to assemble in the end if these are stuck in the plate.
