SURFACE TREATMENT

Our customers often buy fully finished products from us. This also includes various forms of surface treatment, painting and heat treatment, to name a few steps. Through our large and well-established network of subcontractors, we take full responsibility for this part of the production chain. There are of course also ready-made surface-treated plates, most commonly plates covered with a layer of zinc, e.g. aluzinc and magnelis etc.

Why surface treatment?

A surface treatment protects sheet metal parts from corrosion and wear and can be the reason for treating sheet metal parts in different ways for purely aesthetic reasons. Similarly, a surface treatment may be appropriate if you have a component with an uneven surface and want a smooth and attractive result. Another important reason for surface treatment is that your product achieves a longer shelf life, which is desirable from both an environmental and economic point of view.

It is important that surface treatment is carried out professionally. The industry is carefully controlled by the authorities when dealing with environmentally hazardous substances.
