Our employees are accustomed to fulfilling rigorous requirements when it comes to welding. We are able to perform precision welding of small and fine details with accuracy and precision, as well as large welded structures from heavier materials like steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The associated grinding and pickling are often included as a natural steps to produce high quality products and finishes.
There are both manual welding and robotic welding solutions available. We also offer a variety of welding methods that involve various additives or melting points. The most common methods are MIG, TIG and spot welding.
MANUAL WELDING WITH STEEL:
Manual welding with steel is a craft that demands highly cultivated skills. Experience and accuracy are important characteristics of a welder.
MANUAL WELDING WITH ALUMINIUM:
Manual welding with aluminium is an even more demanding craft than welding with steel because aluminium has a lower melting point. Aluminium welding is also typically affected by many more extraneous factors. Aluminium welding requires excellent knowledge of the technology, the materials, all of the equipment — and of course, to be dexterous in the welding itself. It takes many years to become a skilled welder of the precision that Plåt & Mekano Romator delivers.
THE THICKNESS OF THE MATERIAL DETERMINES THE COMPLEXITY:
The thinner the material, the more precise the welding needs to be; otherwise, there is a high risk of burning through. We have highly experienced and skilled welders at Plåt & Mekano Romator. Several of our welders have over 30 years of experience.
The requirements of the welding project often directly determine the finish. For example, a smooth surface with invisible welding will require sanding. Often the finish is manually applied afterwards. We at P & M Romator have the knowledge and expertise to determine exactly what details you will need to minimize production and grinding times. Typically we can achieve excellent welds without any post-processing. We always strive to help our customers determine the best solutions when it comes to welding method and surface finishing in order to optimize costs and quality.
