Our employees are accustomed to fulfilling rigorous requirements when it comes to welding. MANUAL WELDING WITH ALUMINIUM:
Manual welding with aluminium is an even more demanding craft than welding with steel because aluminium has a lower melting point. Aluminium welding is also typically affected by many more extraneous factors. Aluminium welding requires excellent knowledge of the technology, the materials, all of the equipment — and of course, to be dextrous in the welding itself. THE THICKNESS OF THE MATERIAL DETERMINES THE COMPLEXITY:
The thinner the material, the more precise the welding needs to be; otherwise, there is a high risk of burning through. We have highly experienced and skilled welders at Plåt & Mekano Romator. Several of our welders have over 30 years of experience.
The requirements of the welding project often directly determine the finish. For example, a smooth surface with invisible welding will require sanding. Often the finish is manually applied afterwards. We at P & M Romator have the knowledge and expertise to determine exactly what details you will need to minimize production and grinding times. Typically we can achieve excellent welds without any post-processing.
