A thin, perpendicular and focused laser beam is directed from a high-power laser at the workpiece, where the surface of the sheet metal converts the energy into heat and the material hit by the beam melts or completely vaporises. When the laser beam penetrates the material at a certain point, the actual laser cutting begins. After a selected programme, the laser system separates the material in the process.
The thickness of sheet metal that can be used for laser cutting varies and depends on factors such as:

In addition to two Apelito combi laser machines, we have an Amada combi laser LC 2012 C1, where all three are in production around the clock. They are of the type CO2 laser 2kW with integrated punching units in the same machine as the laser unit. So it's two machines in one!
With Amada, you get a faster set-up time and more cost-effective production for parts containing mouldings, countersinks and threads. The machine can make engravings, collars, bumps, punch smaller bends and punch labelling with tools directly in the machine.
We can cut steel sheet 0.5 - 10 mm, stainless steel 0.5 - 5 mm and aluminium 0.5 - 5 mm, as well as cut sheets up to a size of 2500 x 1250 mm.
