GRADING

We offer the following methods for deburring:

Automatic brushing

This is done in a so-called Fladder, where small brushes of emery cloth circulate and brushes vertically and horizontally on the part as it passes flat through the machine. The brushes also remove sharp edges in holes. The surface has a rosy, smooth and fine texture, which is suitable for use as is or for varnishing.

Wet deburring/grinding

This gradation is done in our Lissmac Steelmaster. It can remove some of the surface to get rid of scratches, to get smooth soft edges or a brushed fine surface. This method is ideal for stainless steel or aluminium sheets that must not be sharp. The machine has four stations that can be equipped with different heads, rotating or circulating. Here you can choose, for example, ceramic brushes and sanding belts with different grain sizes.

Trumling

Drumming is done in three drumming machines that are connected to a closed system with an associated maize dryer. The parts are placed in a drum, which, like a washing machine, rotates around the goods together with the soft ceramic stones and liquid, thus removing sharp edges from the part. Finally, the parts go into a new drum with cornflour and heat, which dries the parts and makes them come out clean, fine and smooth to the touch. The process is completely closed, so no waste or waste water comes out. We comply with all applicable environmental legislation for our operations.
