When a perpendicular, focused and directed beam from a high-power laser is aimed at the workpiece, the energy of the surface is converted into heat. This causes the area of the material to melt or completely vaporise. Laser cutting begins when the laser beam penetrates the material, which happens at a certain point. The laser system then separates the material in the process according to a predetermined template.
The thickness of sheets that can be laser cut depends on factors such as:

- Material quality
- The skill and routine of the operator to set all the parameters of the machine.

Our laser department boasts no less than three modern combination laser machines; two Apelio laser combination machines and one Amada LC 2012 C1. All are in production around the clock. The machines can perform both laser cut sheet metal and punching with tools, where Amada LC 2012 C1 also has unloading with a picking robot.
We can promise a fast and efficient production process, where countersinking, embossing, threading and other shaping can be done in the same machine set-up as the actual laser cutting.

Amada LC 2012 C1 Laser cutting combination machine
Amada combination laser LC 23012 C1 is, just like the other two combination laser machines, of the CO2 laser type, 2kW with integrated punching units in the same machine as the laser unit. This means that we easily get two machines in one.
- The machine allows you to make engravings, punch markings, collars and bumps, as well as punch smaller bends with tools directly in the machineFor a part that includes mouldings, countersinks and threads, the Amada saves set-up time and provides a time- and cost-efficient production.
