FAQ

What is sheet metal stamping?

Punching involves using tools of a particular shape to press the material against an underlying corresponding pad, creating a hole or mould in the material. Both punch and pad are ground to form the correct shape. Sheet metal punching is suitable for thin sheet metal up to a maximum thickness of 2 - 4 mm. The machine usually has a variety of tools that are programmed according to CAD files.
